John Amell is the President of the Holland Area Arts Council and House Business Advisor for Lakeshore Advantage. He has over 35 years experience in global business development.
Retired from Haworth, John most recently was Vice President and General Manager of the company’s Asia Pacific Operations. Prior to that he was responsible for the development of Haworth Europe business, a portfolio of companies acquired over a four year period. Asia operations included manufacturing and distribution facilities in Australia, China, and Malaysia, along with sales offices and showrooms in over 12 Asia Pacific countries.
Prior to leading operations internationally, John led Haworth’s manufacturing and supply chain functions in North America. Before joining Haworth John had over 10 years experience in leadership positions in the aerospace industry.
John’s passions include his family (especially his grandchildren), running, biking and reading.
